Caddy For A Cure at the PGA Championship

Just returned home from the PGA Championship in Chaska, Minnesota. It was incredible how may people were there on MONDAY and TUESDAY to view the best in the world on the final major of the year. There were easily more people there on Monday lining the fairways, than on many Sundays at other TOUR events. Amazing. Great people too! Warm, friendly, and golf smart.

Rich Beem was our Caddy For A Cure PGA TOUR professional this week and he did his usual terrific job. We played 9 holes on the Sunday with Tuan Schneider, and 9 holes on Monday with Joe Faeh. Two great guys who decided to split the round up rather than carry for all 18 holes which is a cost effective and smart way to do things. BOTH had the time of their life "Inside the Ropes" at Hazeltine.

We had some great news when Stewart Cink gladly agreed to do the Boston Deutsche Bank Championship for Caddy For A Cure. This gives us "half a grand slam" considering we have Angel Cabrera the week before at The Barclays. The Masters Champion and the Open Champion two weeks in a row is going to be pretty cool. Go to www.caddyforacure.com for more details on how you can be a caddy for a day.

We were also featured on a few TV Shows as well as web shows. The Craig Show did a great piece on us which featured former PGA Champion and crowd favoite Rich Beem where he effectively rolled our two caddies but all in good fun. The "Caddy," who has not spoken in 10 years, was very antimated in his excitement with Rich Beem and our program.

There are not too many cooler things in golf than caddying for one of the best in the game. One simply needs to ask Joe Faeh, a new "Caddy For A Cure" family member now and tremendous giver to charity.
